The airport shuttle bus was very conveniant .The location was good for stay over before conecting flight
Poor breakfast, bad service in breakfast, poor choice, cold coffee. If a group arrive waiting time in the reception extrimly long
Located close to CDG airport and easily accessible with the hotel shuttle. Nice greeting area and friendly staff.
I had a large bag and the walk from the elevator to my room was quite long. The room did not match the lobby area in terms of luxury (it seemed quite basic) and I did not find the bed to be overly comfortable.
A short bus ride away from Terminal 3 at CDG-Paris airport.
Large and pretty foyer and the Irish bar was nice but the staff were quite obviously stressed
Make sure you get everything in writing as the management saw fit to change their pricing policy - when booked was told no charge for pets when checked in was charge 25e per pet per night - I also booked a non smoking room but it was quite evident from the smell of the room it had previously been used by a smoker - there was also no mention of car parking charges for residents during booking yet the charge is 20e a day to park breakfast was not worth 20e the bacon was burnt the eggs were awful and the Vienna sausages were worse the best bit of the breakfast was the water melon and the coffee was only just drinkable it tasted like the floor sweepings instead of fresh ground - wouldn't recommend the staff were pleasant except for the woman in the Irish bar who obviously found more than a few customers stressful - would I stay there again very doubtful
Proximity to CDG Airport, good food, fast service in the restaurant, clean room.
Car Parking was previously free, now is 16 Euros per night.
Some good, too much bad
In general: To: Management Millennium CDG Roissy Hotel From: Graham Bathgate, guest Date: Aug. 7, 2018 I stayed two times recently, on May 28th and June 20th. I have stayed at least four times before. I keep returning because of the swimming pool and the village. There were other good things on my recent visits: reception staff were capable and friendly; the “bubble bath” was working in the pool area on June 20th; on the same date there was a nice woman at the breakfast entrance to welcome me; I enjoyed a free glass of wine at the bar as part of being “Genius” on Booking. com. My room was in a great location at 252 because it was next to the stairs for the swimming pool. However, there were other aspects not so great. On May 29th, the breakfast was a shambles, no staff to welcome and control tables, no staff to clear away and replenish the food, so no food for me to enjoy such as fresh fruit, croissants and hot egg. I complained at reception and was told that it was because of the strikes; I still think with short staff it could have been better managed. Especially when one of the male staff on duty came out and started to kick chairs around, so upset was he at the shambles. I asked for a manager but there was no-one on duty. One of the lifts was out of order. The other lift was crazy with a mind of its own, meaning that it didn’t go to the floors one asked for, and would go down instead of up, and vice versa. This meant that I used the stairs most of the time, as did several other people I noticed. The saunas were out of order, not in use. The clock at reception was stuck/broken on 7.35. The door handle was difficult to use going into the swimming pool. Having to get a new “pass card” next morning for the swimming pool was a nuisance. The flushing in the toilet in the room wasn’t strong enough to remove things. The bedroom furniture is rather old, really needs replacing. For example, the chair backing in Rome 252 was broken and the cupboard doors under the TV didn’t shut tight. The carpeting and decor throughout the hotel needs a complete renewal. OK, some good news above, some not so good. I hope that at least the lifts can be improved and everything will be in working order in the hotel in future. If only one thing not so good, that’s probably OK but when it’s a lot of things, it’s a really bad feeling. Regards, GBathgate, guest May 28th and June 20, 2018 Location and surroundings: I like Roissy village so the hotel is fine for that, only five minutes walk. Service: Yes, pleasant and helpful enough at reception but I wouldn't call it four-star professional. Dining: Only breakfasting. The May 29th breakfast was a farce, too many people allowed in for too few staff to clear and bring, so no croissants, no juice, no hot food, etc. I was told it was because of the strikes. Should have been better managed by making people wait until they could be seated and properly looked after. Photos below of dreadful breakfast. Great to get a glass of rose´wine free at the bar but I think that was part of my online booking site, rather than the hotel's service. Sports and leisure: Great swimming pool but one time I stayed it was closed. Only once in five stays has the spa pool been working. The saunas are never working. It's like a third-world hotel in this respect. Room: OK, very big, bathroom fine but the usual cracks and poor workmanship. The flush on the toilet not strong enough. Cupboard doors in the room wouldn't close properly.
This hotel is really old and looks to be dead soon. Furniture is very old, Internet does not work, no minibar, restaurant is closed sat-sun, quality of food in the bar is really sucks. We have been places in the most distant room of the hotel , despite the fact that it was nearly empty. Reception have no exact info about the shuttle and it took 40!!!! minutes to be delivered to cdg terminal 1 + you have to sit in the train to be at cdg terminal 2... So, if you want to spoil end of your great French vacation - pls use it
Proximity to the Airport.
The bed was very uncomfortable and the restaurant is closed on a Saturday night, forcing you to eat in the over priced so called Irish Bar. They have a rubiish menue and it is very overpriced. We were forced to walk to a local restaurant.
Large and comfortable - good facilities and helpful staff - would recommend for an airport stop over.
hot tub boarded up permanently, sauna closed for infection risk, pay TV out of order, no mini bar (nailed shut?)
Proximity to cdg and value price
The guest computers were not working so I had a long wait at reception to get boarding passes.
Room was clean and big by French standards. Tea pot in the room was nice surprise.
gym & pool good to have prior to a long flight
room too hot aircon not working and meal at bistro pub very poor
nice atmosphere, friendly staff and reliable shuttle to and from airport/train station.nice room and you could smoke:)
